Scottish Socialist Party

About

The Scottish Socialist Party was founded in 1999 and stands for an independent socialist Scotland - a modern, democratic republic.

The party is also involved in the campaign against cuts to public services and welfare being introduced by the UK Government in particular for the abolition of the bedroom tax and for the government to mitigate fuel poverty caused by soaring fuel prices, as well as for the provision of free school meals.

Every fortnight, the party also publishes Scotland's only socialist newspaper, the Scottish Socialist Voice.
